How to make App Store screenshots with device frames fast
Want screenshots that look as polished as Apple's own? It comes down to four things: a standard status bar, real device frames, clear copy, and the right size.
Step 1: Pin the simulator status bar to 9:41
Run the status_bar override command in Terminal to pin the clock to 9:41 with full signal and battery, then capture. See our status bar guide on this site for the exact commands.
Step 2: Upload and pick a device frame
Upload your screenshot in 941Mock and choose from 34 real device frames across iPhone, Android and iPad. The device scales and centers at pixel precision.
Step 3: Add copy and layout
Write a title and subtitle that sell the core benefit, pick an above/below layout and brand colors. Text colors auto-adjust to light or dark backgrounds, so no manual tweaking is needed.
Step 4: Export
Choose a canvas size and export a high-res PNG ready for App Store Connect. The whole flow usually takes under two minutes.
